2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards Nominations List

The 2013 BET Hip-Hop Awards nominations were announced on Thursday.
Kendrick Lamar — who recently controversially boasted that he’s the “King of New York” — leads the nominees with 14 nods.
Drake is close behind with 13 nominations, followed by J. Cole with 10. Snoop Dogg will host this year’s show, which will tape in Atlanta on September 28, and air on BET on October 15.
